Do you think the R5 front end is good as the Old skool for stock racing ?
Are you trying to build a WGT3? You have a worldGT axle set? The right hub offset like this one?

Sounds like to me your best option would be getting a WGT3 'custom' kit. It is a kit without the rear axle, front end, and shock. To me it sounds like you already have those.

I am unsure what you are asking. Between 12th scale and WGT they share shock, pod plates, front end, hardware. You would still need graphite, axles/hubs to convert a car between the two, which at that point its worth just getting a complete kit.

Rev 8 full kits have been waiting on rear axles and hubs which IRS has been backed up with.

Joel, I want you to personally deliver my cars. Do it on a Sunday so you, me and X can catch a Ravens loss together.

Just bought a used Speed Merchant car from YR4Dude. Sent pics to Bruce to see what I had. He responded at 4:00am!! Get some sleep, Bruce!! (To see pics of my Frankenstein Speed Merchant, check YR4Dude's WGT album here on RCtech)
I'm hoping to receive the car later this week and get to Bush River Raceway in Columbia, SC to mix it up with the CRCs there.

Would anyone be so kind as to share a baseline setup for the car or direct me to where I can find one?

Ride height 4mm all around
.20 front springs ( if not running old skool front-end ,5deg dinamic caster, thin caster shim forward ,.1deg negative camber)
20000 diff lube on king pins
.20 side springs ( just touching pod)
Green tube spooge in side tubes ( if you don't have tube spooge 15000 diff lube)
Gold or blue center shock spring
35wt shock oil
0 pod droop
0 chassis sag
This is what I always start with for a base setup and usually only change a couple things to dial it in.
Hope this helps.

Awesome. Thanks, Ryan. I'll have to get in touch with Bruce, etc and get the green spooge, etc.

Just ordered the front and side springs and the green spooge. Didn't see the gold or blue center shock springs.

The guy behind Slapmaster has been posting on the 1/12th scale forum and has done what seems to be some extensive work in testing springs. I'll go and find the link and post it here. Might be handy.
