I personally removed that screw long ago on my 17.5 stock sedan. Yes, more flex. I also removed two of the six screws holdin. The rear part of the top deck on, again, more flex.

What is the current best flexi chassis for running on medium to high grip asphalt? I am thinking of going for the xray 2.0mm, or the exotek 2012 or smokem/cso chassis. The exotek is discountinued though so finding it might be tough.

What's a good FDR to start out with for running Mod with the 2011 car? I'm going to be running the Tekin Gen2 4T motor and was told a FDR of 8 is a good start.

8.8fdr with a 4.0t to start. Adjust boost from there.

were people removing the screw for the stock class, or is it wise to do it in 13.5 or in mod class.

I have a 4.5 in the car now, w/ 48 pitch gears. i'm kinda of thinking w/ 48p gears, the extra flex would be OK.

I thought I would ask before I tested.

thanks for any input.
Ne1 got pic of this

Wow, I was going to say Exotek cause I have one. I had to check for myself to see that they are discontinued. Who knows maybe they ran out of stock and are making more. We hope!

if you want flexy, perhaps a T3R chassis plate. I have one & man is it flexi , its frp? , not carbon. It'll fit the T3 original .

Question . I just picked up a used 2012 that's really nice actually . but it has some silver aluminum shock bodies that r made the same way the plastic shocks r molded . uses the plastic lower cap and has the rim under top cap . anyone know anything about these? Don't think they r Xray . problem I ha e with them is the lower cap keeps coming loose . I put some shogoo on it to keep it from doing it anymore but seems like a bandaid .

Can you post a pic? I would have to recommend for any TC is to get the TRF Tamiya shocks. They are super easy to build and are really smooth!

I was looking for more or less a brand name for these shock bodies that r installed now . not looking to replace them at all . been building Xray & TOP shocks for 6+ yrs I haven't found them hard to build since DSD made bladders / learning to drill a hole in cap and remove foam
Will take a picture tonight tho

When you said silver or aluminum color I was thinking of these! The TRF Fluorine Coated ones! Because I bought a used car once that had these shocks and it took me forever to figure out what shocks they were. Just was wondering if these were them that all.http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40
