Xray T3 2012
#106

I doubt you have exactly the same car, keep in mind things as subtle as chassis thickness, weave method (weave directions) and cutouts make a sizeable difference in the chassis. This seems is an evolution car, the 2011 car was really good, needed some revisions and they addressed all the concerns I have seen save for the one thing left that some people wanted which was aluminum shocks. I for one would rather see the upper bulkheads in the kit than the al shocks. Also there are some geometry changes...

I believe Xray using a special cf but I'm quite happy with cso chassis +t3 topdeck so far

5th body post holes on Front shock tower are missing - hopefully they will be on the Production Towers

Also notice on the setup sheets there is an option for all 4 suspension blocks to be 1 piece or 2 piece - so option parts coming later.
Edit: Sorry, only three of the suspension blocks has that option - the rear of the rear is new.

Not a problem for me, it was expected tbh. To be fair, you are getting alot of upgrades as part of the standard kit now.
It looks like the new chassis and top deck has been aimed towards the tarmac market - a more flexible version of what we have already.
I've just got myself a 2nd Xray '11 pretty cheap, I have all of the new upgrades, plus alu shocks and ecs driveshafts. The good news is I haven't wasted my money!

Hope they are there as well as I also use the 5th body post.
I'll just stick to the T3'11 front shock tower as I don't use the lowest shock position now

Already pre-ordered the top deck, as it will mean I have an extra flexi item for asphalt racing. Keep the current T3'11 top deck for carpet racing.
