I ended up using TORX head screws for my bulkheads etc.

This means that when the screws near the rear of the chassis wears down, I should still be able to get the screwdriver in them.

Hello Guys i have been looking at alot of pics of the t3 11 and the t3 12 and im wondering if anyone that has both could compare the top deck on the 2 cars. The t3 12 looks as if all they did was cut out the 2nd cross brace back infront of the spur. So im curious if i have a t3 11 could i cut that small part out and have " The t3 12 top deck".

2nd this...when I get to the end of a screw I grab the driver like a knob with my thumb and first two fingers and twist until firm to avoid cranking it down and stripping screws.

Even with the '11 top deck cut the flex characteristics will still be different than the '12 top deck.

When you guys build your shocks, do you use the adjustable style or the single way?

Well that stinks and would it still make the 11 better by cutting it.

I always use the adjustable. but if the car ever feels funny the first thing you wanna check is that one did not skip a hole or 2 . Especially after a crash

Now for my question. Whats everyone running for motors in 17.5 blinky? Ive heard the D3 is a good choice But have also heard that Trinity's CS is terrible and have seen a few of them blow up already. Im currently running the orion vortex and although it is a torque monster Im getting dragged down the straight by guys with Novak SS's and Im geared at 3.26

single...doesn't seem like the shock would twist enough (and it doesn't) but they are more consistent than the quick change pistons

If you cut the top deck of the 11 it gives more flex to the rear and aids rear end grip. The 12 has a flexi rear and a little more flex at the front. My 11 has been cut and I have no intention of ever putting an uncut top brace back on.

hi lads,
i run the "12" tonight, car felt great with minor changes only in stock "blinky mode tho" but still handles good only thing is xray needs to sort out supplying 50mm drive shafts in the kit for the rear.i trimmed the swing shaft protector thinking it would help which it did but still was not getting the travel i needed in the rear arms.it was stepping out in the rear then i put 50mm drive shaft in and problem fix rear not stepping out. i could only accomplish 3_4mm travel with 3deg toe and with 2deg camber with trimmed protector.
