Xray T3 2012
#706

So I already stripped out 3 screws and I thought it would be my allen wrench but that's not the case. I bought a new allen wrench and it happend with the other screw. I don't know if they changed out the screws in the 2012 kit to Alum? What would you recommend if you bought new screws, would you stick with the stock Xray screws or go with another brand?
This means that when the screws near the rear of the chassis wears down, I should still be able to get the screwdriver in them.

Hello Guys i have been looking at alot of pics of the t3 11 and the t3 12 and im wondering if anyone that has both could compare the top deck on the 2 cars. The t3 12 looks as if all they did was cut out the 2nd cross brace back infront of the spur. So im curious if i have a t3 11 could i cut that small part out and have " The t3 12 top deck".

If you are stripping the kit screws...there is a possibility you are trying to overtighten. These aren't nitro cars, you don't have to donkey strong all the screws, just get them snug. Just saying...it might possibly be the problem. I've never had a problem with a single screw on any car. The kit screws are definitely steel.

Now for my question. Whats everyone running for motors in 17.5 blinky? Ive heard the D3 is a good choice But have also heard that Trinity's CS is terrible and have seen a few of them blow up already. Im currently running the orion vortex and although it is a torque monster Im getting dragged down the straight by guys with Novak SS's and Im geared at 3.26

hi lads,
i run the "12" tonight, car felt great with minor changes only in stock "blinky mode tho" but still handles good only thing is xray needs to sort out supplying 50mm drive shafts in the kit for the rear.i trimmed the swing shaft protector thinking it would help which it did but still was not getting the travel i needed in the rear arms.it was stepping out in the rear then i put 50mm drive shaft in and problem fix rear not stepping out. i could only accomplish 3_4mm travel with 3deg toe and with 2deg camber with trimmed protector.
