Were you running on carpet or asphalt? Care to put a setup sheet up on xray or whatever of what you ended up with?
Sounds like you did what he said! I am running on asphalt! I am also running another C mount in rear and using the xb i think holders in front. It makes the whole rear end narrow. Play around with the mounts and you will get it to work. I blew a motor today also got bumped around. Wasnt such a great racing day but still so much better with exotek chassis!

Hey Guys I wanted to try and give the front wheels more power than the rear wheels. So I purchased the 16T pulleys and I was going to put them on the layshaft for the rear to give the rear wheels less power .... but this wouldn't work will it because the rear wheels will just be spinning as they wont be travelling at the same speed as the front wheels? I would be right in assuming this wouldn't I.

Yes, you've said that already, but what people are asking is why?, what are you trying to achieve?
More power out of corners, drift car etc?

People used to achieve overdrive or underdrive by making the pulleys 1 tooth different either at the spool or diff, not 4 teeth at the centre pulley.

Pretty sure belt fitment would be an issue. I'd try solving whatever problem you're having some other way.

I would try adjusting a little more tension to the front belt and less to the rear for more "pull".

Thanks for all the reply's. There wasn't really any reason I just wanted to try it and see how it went. I'm pretty new to the competitive touring cars. Thanks for your comments ill try tensioning them differently that seams like the more logical approach

Has anyone tried the progressive springs 308383? They come with the T3R. I thought progressive springs were supposed to be better? the T3 progressive springs are $11 a pair these are $11 for 4. Should I just buy the 308372's?

Thanks in advanced

Hi Guys,

Can anyone please help with a CRC carpet setup sheet as I am running at the AOC in 2 weeks and really need to find a good starting point. Its the 1st time I'll be racing on carpet and really would like to get my hands on a good starting point.

Really appreciate it if you guys can help?

Cheers
Wainbow.

Default more flex

if I remember correctly, were people removing the screw that connects the motor bulkhead and the motor bulkhead holder? it is the counter sunk head screw that is on the motor side of the bulkhead.

this gives the car more rear flex, correct?

were people removing the screw for the stock class, or is it wise to do it in 13.5 or in mod class.

I have a 4.5 in the car now, w/ 48 pitch gears. i'm kinda of thinking w/ 48p gears, the extra flex would be OK.

I thought I would ask before I tested.

thanks for any input.
