Well, they only increase the "T" number when they make a big change in order to copy something from the Tamiya... *cough* one-piece suspension mounts *splutter*

First, I don't think Tamiya was the first to make pivot toe blocks or one piece mounts. It's become a industry standard. Development of the TC has hit it's limits. Sure you could develop one for a specific track. lol Now it comes down to R&D refinements that make it easier for racers to work on and adjust the car. I don't care they all look the same, I like Xray's quality and attention to detail. I'm sure it will have short shock system, and that's new to most TCs. Can't wait to see it. Keeping fingers crossed for full sized solid motor mount and pivot ball.

Some simple easy things to try. Remove the 2mm shim from the front shock mount. Add 1-2mm of shims for/to ackerman.

Snowy.

Have you got any links to videos of the track?

I would try the standard top deck for a start, you've made the car very flexible, which increases rear grip, but that might be the problem.

I think we'll see the above, but I think the biggest change will be that the bulkheads will be inline with the layshaft mounts (bulkheads will be much narrower than before.

Still doubt we will see pivot ball suspension

With the mounts already decoupled from the bulkheads, wouldn't it be pretty easy to offer blocks for either style of arm mounting?

Possibly, but I think that's 'a step too far' as far as the Hudy's are concerned to making it look like every other car.

It would also reduce the chassis flex, as Tamiya style mounts reduce flex across the chassis, as one piece mounts do.
