On our 90x40' indoor carpet I am at 116/27 with a 5.5 and no esc timing. My motor and esc have been coming off cool, although I am pretty sure I could get a bit more oomph if I geared up a little.

Perhaps, try full rears for the 1/2hr, but full fronts for only 10mins.

The fact that you say the car is great after a few runs suggests you want to make the bare minimum of changes. Perhaps try standing the rear shocks up a bit more early on.

I've been struggling with rear grip lately as well. Some things I've tried with some success:
- only dope 2/3 of front tires
- add 1mm rear wheel spacers

Experiment with taking or moving screws from the top deck, also shock position is an easy change to work with throughout the day. (which end to change and how much can vary depending on at what point in the corner the car is breaking loose).

My car is breaking loose mid corner under power. What changes can I make?

I am running...
2 rear camber
3 toe in rear
1 toe out in front
1.5 camber in front
Middle upper link holes front and rear with 1mm spacer
Mid roll centers
Middle shock position up front
Down one shock hole in rear

Move front shock out 1 hole and go to 1 degree camber in front.

thanks for info do you think going to 30 weight shock oil in the rear would help ?

I think in your situation it would actually make it more tail-happy. It would allow the weight to transfer side to side too quickly and overload your tires even more; which sounds like what is happening. I would look at your downstop settings. Maybe try giving the car less rear uptravel to limit the weight transfer a bit.

Cheers

Or you could try a little anti-squat, allows you to put the power down a little sooner.
