Servo mount looks rather interesting, don't know about the short shocks, and is it just me or are those shock towers really thick?

I don't understand your post...team X-ray had the same chance as everyone else at worlds. It was obvisouly not as fast as the others cars or drivers at worlds, but they had just as much chance as every other team.

The shocks in the pic look a lot wider...seems like a bigger bore aluminum shock. Maybe there is hope of new shocks for the new kit.

I think he was referring to the bad luch Paul had with the timing of the rain having to run a key qualifier in the rain.

Team x ray had some bad luck. Im sure the car is just as fast if not faster than the others. In other news I'm finally replacing my savox 1251. What does everyone think of the ko propo rsx-one 10 low profile servo?

At this level all of the cars are good, but some are better then others based on the conditions...luck has a lot to do with racing, and I agree the X-ray team seemed to not get as much as others. That is racing!

I'm not seeing the bulkheads being closer together. Also, that would mean new diffs, spools, layshafts, and who knows what else in order to fit in between there would it not? course, I could easily be wrong.

New layshaft mount doesn't appear to allow for the little plastic retaining pieces.

I'm undecided if that's a good thing.

I can say for everyone but I fitted a RSXone10 for the Indoor titles last weekend and it performed faultlessly. Very impressed. Smooth and consistent and fast.

For the record I am running it with a KR408S reciver and a Nosram ISTC v2.

Non of the top manufacturers make a bad car, and Xray are no exception, bad luck does play a part but team work and tactics play a bigger part.

Bigger teams have more imformation to share and more drivers that have a chance of winning.

I have seen all the big brands working together at races, even putting one of them out as a pawn to try off the wall things, meanwhile it appears the X-ray guys just sit near each other and don't work much as a team, with limited track time and changing conditions the team work plays a major role.
