Paul is running a new servo mount on his car.. pretty much the same idea as the option servo mount but now attached to two points on the inside of the chassis behind the servo instead of mounting it to the steering post.

So when they release it, we get to change our "old" new servo mount or else why release that mount, if it supposed the be working? that will be the question..

I'm 99% cetain that you will not be able to swap the current version for a new version. This is an option part which isn't a necessity in order to run the car.

hmm. I recall having the same issue - 20% difference in balance L/R. A servo swap or two later and repeated fiddling, I only got down to '10' subtrim, 10% difference (70/80% L/R) and a link length of 16.4mm (shortest i could get it).

Default Servo

I think this servo mount drama is overrated! I have not lost a race yet because my servo mount wasn't somehow modded or the other guy had his servo mounted better! I usually take the lead then 4 minutes in park it!

Is this because your poorly mounted servo moves to where you are forced to hold the wheel full lock left going down the straight away?

Servo mount looks rather interesting, don't know about the short shocks, and is it just me or are those shock towers really thick?

The suspension mounts look really weird as well, looks like they moved the entire wheelbase forward?

And finally split blocks that have two screws supporting them - yippee no more risk of a cracked chassis

The things that I think Ican see that are different include;

Shocks (shorter)
Shock towers
Servo mount
Motor mount
Layshaft mount
Chassis
Top deck (must be different due to some of the above)
Pivot Block mounts, front and rear
Bulkheads closer together
Narrower Gear Diff, see bulkheads
Narrower Spool, see bulkheads
Ackermann Centre link
Option, steering arms

They look the same to me.

Once again, the 'corners' would appear to be the same.
I reckon that's around 50% of the components that different.

And if I'm right about the bulkheads being narrower, then the entire car will be at least a couple of mm narrower overall.

Rear anti roll bar holders are on top of the lower bulkheads.
