Thanks Fred....SO the "chatter" is that from hitting the inner rim from the vibration?Is this much of a concern while running it on the track?

Nothing should be hitting the rim. The driveshafts are making the chatter. This is normal in pretty much any car that "does not" have ecs type shafts. (double jointed shafts) You won't have problems on the track, but if you do get ecs's you will feel the difference.

I made a video of the same thing a while back for someone;

It depends on how heavy the oil in the front. If I switch to a gear diff in front with 60,000 its barely noticable. Ive tried 500,000 and putty and they both chatter. The ecs shafts are the way to go. Arrowmax makes a set that are better than the spec-r but not quite as nice as the xray ecs shafts.

Anyone else discovered CSO's engineering not to be up to much?
The driveshaft axles have been drilled in the wrong place, which leaves about .5 of play.... Didn't expect them to be as strong as the XRAY items, but I only wanted them for the rear where they arn't strained, but atleast expected them to have been drilled correctly.
Just a little warning for anyone looking to purchase.

Also, apparently the optional T3'12 2.0 and 2.2mm chassis that CSO offers has a flaw, they drilled the holes the for the steering rack in the wrong spots....
So, basically... yeah, I'd be wary of CSO products at this point !

I just picked up a set of CSO "tamiya style" hinge blocks for the T3'12. I didn't realize they don't offer 1.5degree and 2.0 degree toe blocks for the rear. ( only 2.5, 2.75, and 3.0 ) So if you want to use outboard toe, you are limited to no less than 3.5 degrees of rear toe (unless you use the CSO toe block in the rear and the standard X-ray roll center hinge blocks ( with shims ) in the front of the rear )
