you may also opt to upgrade your outdrives with a steel or alu materials. Xray, atomic and many other aftermarket brands have these in offer. i use the alu by atomic as they are long enough to fit both the 52mm and 50mm shafts.

52 mm makes your car more stable which means it's easier to drive but understeers more. 50 mm make your car more agressive. The best combination in my opinion is 50 in the front and 52 in the rear since you have a responsive car in the front with a stable rear end. Not that eg. Hagberg uses 50 in the rear and 52 in the front

I am considering getting a t3 2012, but it costs $125 more than a associated tc6.1, and the associated car includes free shipping. The lowest price i have seen for the xray is $475+shipping. Anybody know of anybody that is cheaper?

Get the XRAY, you will not regret it. I have ran both and still have my 2012. The 2012 xray kit starting setup is bottom line dialed. The TC6.1 you have to work with alot to get it to where you will like it and become consistent with, the xray is already more consistent after about the 2nd run when your used to driving the car. The car is very durable and you do not need alot of spares for it at all, i usually keep 1 set (2) of everything. I have more C-hubs due to tuning, and more steering knuckles because nexus racing gives a good deal on the 5 pack. The kit quality is far better as well, The xray goes together so much nicer/smoother. No sanding is required either.

I am looking to spend less than $475, which is the lowest price I have seen a NIB t3 2012 for and you are asking $775 for yours. Thus it is way more than I want to spend. Are you willing to part it out into just the the car that came with the kit, like if I bought a NIB car? If so, pm me a price.

I believe he has cut the servo mount "ear" sticking out from the chassie off, and is using only one servopost and some double-sided tape to keep it in place - thus achieving some of the same as one would with the "new" servo mount, but it's not as durable.

Curious as to why. Seems to be working though, excellent driving from him this weekend.
