Xray T3 2012

To get the 12 chassis to fit you will need to either get the 12 steering system or re drill the 11 arm to allow the steering turnbuckle to fit with the servo in the new position

Found out that the front Hudy steel driveshafts are bent
I do not understand why would this happen (and why it shouldn't happen with new ones), since the car had little run time in it (and never crashed with it). Also, can T1 driveshafts be used and is this advisable (they are 51 mm but thinner)?

We have a group of Xray Team drivers who will be at the upcoming Reedy Race who will be providing set up info for everyone soon as well.

The T1 driveshafts do not fit the T2/3 style drive axles.

Which outdrives are you using?

Yeah, they seem to get twisted a bit sometimes. I've replaced 3 so far. Only on my one car that has Nikita outdrives though. My other car hasn't bent one yet, but I'm still using the kit composite outdrives on that car. Maybe the extra give in the composite outdrives has kept the cvds from bending??

yeah, if you look at a new one, the pin on the one end lines up straight with the hole on the other end. I've had a few twist so the pin end is at about a 45 degree angle compared to the other end and you can see where it says "Hudy spring steel 52mm" is no longer perfectly straight, but the text sort of warps around.
