Also a lot of the product sold in the states is sold across the pond, due to the online shops being cheaper here and shipping is not that expensive. Its not like A main, nexus, stormer won't sell to Europe.

The XRay seems pretty well optimized in that regard. Are you using brushless? They've got so much torque, I don't think rotating mass really matters.

If you don't have to run a spec tire then try different brands. Some weigh less then others.
Also try assembling your own tires. Lighter rims, different inserts etc..
