Doesn't look like it... the outside servo mount just doesnt bolt to the chassis leaving a small gap. Better pictures on Xray's website... http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/new...&kategoria=738

Hi guys
I have a noob question which I am sure has been answered in the past but I am hoping since the brushless motors have been around for longer now I can draw on some of your experiences.
Basically I am looking for a 17.5 sensored motor for my xray T3 thats fast and reliable and doesnt get too hot as I am in Adelaide and the weather here can sit above 30C for long periods of time.
I have tried to find a Corally 17.5 pro red but they dont make them anymore.
Any suggestions or opinions would be welcome and dont hesitate to point out any motors that are crap
Thanks
Marius

Anyone have try Arrowmax CVD's? Is it good compare to Xray Ecs?
#1613

I ran them for about a month, very good product...But as I can tell from their website they only offer 52mm sets, and not 50mm. I ran metal spool outdrives and clipped a corner, not really that hard, and the Arrowmax CVD pin shattered. I rebuilt it with the XRay pins, with the flats, and it is good as new. All in all great product for half the price.

so, its safe to assume that the arrowmax ecs use the same pin size as the xray ecs, 1.5x8 in board and 1.5x9 out board, would this be correct thanks
#1615

Yes the Arrowmax ecs' use the same length pins as the X-Ray...Although this past Sat. at the Hurricane race in Indiana I used the 1.5X9 pins (as I did not have the shorter length pins) for the entire ECS. clearance was tight, but as long as you are using the ground flat spot pins you should be fine...I triple checked to make sure that there was not any binding issues with the extended pins by compressing the arms and by also turning wheels to full lock right and left...a dremel could alleviate this issue, but I had enough clearance for this to not be a problem.

thanks, how about the 2.0mm chassis anyone try it and is it better, I am about to order some parts and want to know if its worth buying
