Hi,

Appart from using the top racing axle pin covers is there a way of stopping the driveshaft pins slowly sliding out? Im using the xray pins with the flat and also using threadlock, Im usually very gd at building driveshafts but i am having a little issue with the front ones, any ideas?

You can use shrink wrap on them you will never have that problem but they will still break though.

its hard to me to find the shaft with the flat spot, what i do is I use silicone paste and cover the hole with it. It works but need to re-check after few run, and last longer if use high quality one

If you get a chance can you try and measure the newer Tamiya TRF springs, they are all white but have a small piece of colour at one end.

Hey guys, just got my car and am ging to start building it probably tomorrow. I was wandering if the 50mm ecs's will work okay with the stock setup without any problems. I ask because my lhs has the 50's in stock, but not the 52's thanks!

Yes! They work fine. I believe that they handle a little different then the 52's.

If you are running exclusively on carpet then you can change them all, if not then leave only the screws under the chassis steel.

You definitely want 50's as they are a valuable tuning option.
