I agree, the driver is the biggest part of the car. I ran the TC3 for a few months and had nothing but trouble. Switched to Xray & it's simply a better balanced, handling car.

In my opinion I found a better chassis, the drivetrain is very similair, but the rest of the layout is more "cleaner""
Let me hear what you think about this:

uhhh....that guy scares me
but i like his car anyways.
i have to hand it to the guy who built that tc3 hybrid thingy strange car. but i think with all that wire going between the cells it would really slow it down. but on the other hand i bet that thing is balanced. can you show us a pic of it balancing on two golf tees

I like that design a lot! Innovative, but simple.

Default strange

Come on guys give him a break....i agree with some of the stuff you've all said but hay it's WAY different from the norm.

This is the stuff that makes this hobby great...guy's going out on a limb to make something they feel might just be faster, how many of use have actually taken the time to draw up some plans and build the car we dream is the fastest????

Until i've tried i will reserve my judgement......

Thumbs up

I have nothing but respect for this guy and his inventions.
As an engineer I've always been thinking of achieving perfect weight distribution, but it seems like someone beat me to it. I must say its impractical though, ticklish funny.

WHY? -
Why not? this is how many things were invented.

On the website Over R/C there is now an interview from the designer (and from the test-driver too) of the "first" strange car. He explains his motivation and what he wanted to see with this concept-car. He is well-knowned and respected in France, because he was french champion in 2003.

The article is wroten in french, but it could be easely read in english with an on-line translator.

Georges.
(sorry for my poor english knowledge)
