Exclamation KO FM40 band question

1. i got a pair of KO FM 40 band. The Tx one read 40915, the Rx one read sth like 40650...they dun match...is it normal or what?! i tried them at home, they worked..but i am worrying that i may be jammed by someone actually using a 40650 Tx crystal...

2. I found out that using 45875 on Tx and affect a receiver using 40650 crystal...... and vice versa..... again..is it normal?

3. Give me some hints about crystal maintenance? what will make them dun work/broke?

assistance is kindly appreciated

It doesn't look right!

TX and RX should be the same in order to work.

There is no specific maintance. Just buy an appropriate box to store them and that's it

if it was AM then that is normal but FM

have you just bought these crystals? did they come with your transmitter?

and about looking after crystals, crystals can break on the slightest knock, you wont be able to see them damaged but they will be so keep them in a crystal case or something...dont just leave the lying around.
