Also looks like the chassis they put under their Mini Cooper, but that didn't have those strange foam tyres.

super alta and the mini cooper chassis are the same except for the tires and the rear frame is shaped different on the mini chassis. I can also be a Academy copy.

Im with you on that, These days so much carbon and blue alloy parts,sort of miss the different designs

I had one many years ago, strange car to drive as it was soooooo flexible. A lot of fun though! It was also sold as a VW Beetle too.
