Default HPI F10 KIT

Hey i'm gonna buy a Hpi f10 kit to race in the new and upcoming indoor on road track and want to know if you guys have any tips and tricks when building the kit?big thanks for anybody who posts.Also what electronics do you guys run in them?

just make sure you get batterys that will fit. many of today's square case lipos don't fit in the HPI F1 chassis. A few brands do fit, but most don't. So it's important to pick batterys that will fit unless you don't mind modifying the chassis with something like the exotec conversion. A $70 mod to a $90 car does seem a little extreme. So you'll want to be sure that your batterys will fit.

Thanks i'll definately check it out do you know what other lipo's fit in the car?And obviously they are 2s but what mah's are they?

Nope, only tried the Orions. Mine are the 4000mah 25C 2S Rocket Packs.

This Lipo will fit only the Exotec Conversion.

You can only use round Lipos like the orion or the new lrps.

Get the Bridgestone Potenza tires in the S compound. The kit tires are useless.

How much does the exotec kit cost for it,and do they make any stickpack lipo in 5000mah capacity?

Thanks for the link,I love the orange finish on the parts along with the hex screws instead of phillips,i can run the dynamite 6000mah now i think.

But dont forget the orange parts are not included with the exotec chassis conversion.
The other parts are original hpi hop ups.

Oh ok,either way i will be buying that chassis kit and also gonna buy the hpi orange aluminum.
