Yeah the bearing is on the inside of the bulkhead. Works great and requires no additional parts other then the belt. No big deal. Mostly I run 17.5 and 13.5 on asphalt. Occasionally carpet. The car works very well on both.

Ok nice! Maybe going to try it. But for running a spool in front you think a tamiya spool would also fit?
Do you maybe have more pictures? :-)

I cant say as I haven't tried a tamiya spool. I was going to just glue up a spec r gear diff for a spool. I can take more detailed pics once I get home.

I have been using the Tamiya 37 tooth front gear on a Corally spool. That way I can drop the Spec-R gear diff in and out of the front without having to change any of the belts.

The Tamiya 37 tooth gear is a $6-$8 part instead of ruining a Spec-R gear diff. Just a thought.

And don't be worried, but you'll have to open up the mounting holes a little, at least I had to.

I jus orderd the hmx today we a holiday here tomorrow 4th of July so im thinking i should have the kit within four business days. I will post pics once i get the kit.
