I really love the original Tamiya Mini Rover body, but it is quite pricey. I've been using this body for a while for practice & parking lot racing.

I have been a big fan of the 2006 Mini Cooper, which is LWB but I finally decided to join the Swift MWB brigade for extra turn in on the tighter track. It is such pity Tamiya have not yet produced a Mini Cooper shell for MWB (something like the 1275GT) as that is the true theme of the class.

Anyway I eventually settled on the Audi TT and am enjoying it, despite many folk telling me I am racing a Karmann Ghia! The car is noticeably quieter, as well. I took the wing off after it caused the car to wander on the straights (fitted too steep):

The earlier 2006 Mini Cooper I was a fan of, sits so neat on the chassis, pardon the fuzzy cell pic:

Cheers
Dave

COLT/Active Hobby Yaris. I hadn't install the wing, looks and handles better at the restricted speed.

The Colt brand mini bodies as sold through RCMart and not the best quality, but they are cheaper than most others. I ran the Mercedes A-class body for a time and it handled fine despite its tall profile.

Does anyone know how to get the Blitz C30 body in Canada, without overspending on brokerage, shipping, etc.?

HPI bodies that were originally made for the Cup Racer are among my favorite for the Tamiya M chassis. ABC bodies are a close 2nd, and they have quite a nice selection. Third on the list would be the Tamiya branded bodies, -yet if you race in a club that follows the TCS rules (like I do) then your limited to the Tamiya bodies. They are nice in my opinion and the quality is good.

I hate to revive an old thread, but what options are still out there? I'm getting an M-07 so, unfortunately, ABS and all other 210mm bodies are out of the question. I'm looking for FWD bodies (to keep the body to chassis "scale"). There are some cool options from Blitz and Ride, but they seem impossible to find especially in the US.

I am also re-looking at MWB bodies with the M07 in the post and surprised that some of the handling MWB bodies have disappeared. I did fancy a Shun shell but will make do with a couple of the Team Blue Groove (Ebay) bodies out your way ;-)

A shame to have to pension off the Montech SWB Mini, the best handling body I have had the pleasure of using....

Surely a manufacturer will now see a market gap for a MWB Mini shell?

Cheers
Dave

Hobbyking has Blitz mini bodies, they aren't in the US warehouse but shipping isn't bad. The GTI body I ordered was about $25 shipped.
