Default SpeedMerchant Rev.7

Introducing the latest 1/12th scale from SpeedMerchant -- the Rev.7

http://www.teamspeedmerchant.com/news.html

The new car is built around an inline-only design that enables the movement of weight to adjust the car for different track conditions. Two models are available:
- Formula Rev.7 -- featuring the Formula v3 front end
- Rev.7 Sport -- includes an "Old School" front end that has camber and caster cut into it!

I've been lucky enough to run with Rev.7 Sport last weekend, and the car has a great feel to it. I cannot wait to see what it will do this upcoming season!

Conversion kits will be available first for existing SpeedMerchant cars (and other 1/12th scales) with the full kits following.

Also make sure to take a look at the amazing adjustable rear pod that Team Tamale has made

I've been bugging Bruce all summer about this car

His web site will have ordering links in the next few days. I'll make sure to update the thread when those links are live.

I think people will really like this car. The new "Old School" front end is really nice -- removes the need for shims as caster and camber is already cut into the blocks. I started out with just some standard ride height shims -- but then removed them as I switched to smaller front tires.

I've just thrown together a wiki page for the car too - http://racerlog.com/wiki/SpeedMerchant_Rev.7

Absolutely gorgeous, as always. Some very progressive thinking going on in that design. And of course, I totally love the Old Skool front-end. If Hanulec is fast with it, it has to be pretty dialed.........
