Id like to thank Bruce and Peter for the help at IIC and congradulate Pete for his finish in 17.5 1/12. For those on the fence about this car don't be its an awsome car their where two in the stock A at IIC not bad for a cars first major race.

Hi Burt...answered your PM.

Some really nice pics from Vegas taken by Joel Navarro from Car Action.

http://www.rccaraction.com/blog/2011...th-annual-iic/

I'll get the Vegas race report up soon, and we got word from RC Champ House that the Rev.7 won the Japanese Nationals at Yatabe Arena!!!

Just waiting on some pictures, and we'll get that up too.

Have a great day.-Bruce

Hi James,

We're going to sell the Tamale Pods direct thru SpeedMerchant.

We have them for Asc., XRay, CRC right now, and TOP, CFEX and On-Point are in the works.

They'll be on-line by the beginning of next week.

Take care.-Bruce

Hey... for a Derelict, that's a pretty clean build.

Default IIC Setups

A lot of people have been asking for setups from the IIC in Vegas. So I will just post mine here.

17.5 Vegas IIC setup

I had been running the same car and setup for both classes until the morning of the main events. I ran about 3 times in the short practice they had and got the stock car really good. I was able to pressure Kenny until we hit lap traffic and I crashed  At that point I was 6 sec back and the car was good enough to make up time and finish one turn back from Kenny by the end of the race in a class with very little horsepower.

Front:

0.22 spring
Green Spoodge on kingpin
4 caster, 2 camber Old Skool front blocks.
Jaco Black, 1.550" Full sauce w/ Jack. Full sidewall glue
171mm width

Rear:

0.20 Side springs, 2.5 turns down and tweak
Green Spoodge in tubes
Speedmerchant Shock, w/ Associated 40wt
Green AE center spring
0.5mm of pod droop
Jaco Yellow, 1.645" Full sauce w/ Jack. Safety glue only
172mm width

Body: AMR12

Vegas IIC 13.5 setup

In 13.5 my car was phenomenal. With a driver behind the wheel I felt like that car had speed enough to win the race, but I had a great time racing with Hagberg for the bump in the B-Main. In the end he got it but this car was super competitive, that's what I get for not having anytime to practice these days!

Front:

0.22 spring
Green Spoodge on kingpin
4 caster, 2 camber Old Skool front blocks.
Jaco Lilac 1.550" 3/4 sauce w/ Jack. 3/4 sidewall glue
172mm width

Rear:

0.18 Side springs, 2 turns down and tweak
Green Spoodge in tubes
Hot Bodies Shock, w/ Associated 40wt
Green AE center spring
0.5mm of pod droop
Jaco Orange, 1.645" Full sauce w/ Jack. Safety glue only
172mm width

Body: AMR12

Hope this helps everyone!
