I haven't seen pricing yet -- but the conversion will be cheaper.
do you have metal or plastic pod plates? If you have plastic
plates then you might want to consider a kit.. or a future upgrade to metal pod plates -- or the new Tamale pod plates.

Looks sweet, we need a few shots of the rear axle adjustment in action.

Not sure -- I'll ask Bruce tomorrow night when I see him at RC Excitement. I don't know if he will use the old part numbers -- or put some new ones on his site.

Thanks to JoelV - aka Sid - for adding some content on my wiki today! Sid actually built my car for me -- he did a great job. I think from now on he is my official pan car builder. He did a great job for me last year w/ the Rev.6 building a great car that I took to 2nd place in 17.5 stock at IIC.

If people didn't read the wiki yet -- the most exciting thing I found out about the car is that the car comes PRE-DRILLED for either Spektrum H5000 or Futaba s9650 servos.

Hi Guys,

1st off...Thank you for all the kind words. The new 7 is pretty cool, and I'm sure you're going to like it.

2nd...I'll get the rest of the descriptions up in by Monday. Just very busy right now, and I took a little fun side project on for Vegas, that I probably shouldn't have. LOL.

3rd...Just talked to Larry at Team Tamale. He will have a limited # of adjustable bulkheads done before Vegas. If you really want one, I would e-mail him and get on the waiting list. The 1st batch just came back from the anodizer, and they look bad ass. The switch to the Adjustable bulkhead also entails a new bottom and back plate. FYI...in case you were wondering. Each step is a .5mm adjustment. Honestly takes about 15 seconds to change rear ride height. Loosen 4 screws, move, tighten 4 screws, done. Also the 1/4 x 1/2 bearings are much nicer than what we use now. More durable, less expensive, and roll forever. The optional pod set does not affect any geometry...everything is the same as the stock pieces. Finally, in the bottom pics, those rears are 1.56”(39.6mm)….still had 4mm clearance at the bottom plate.

4th… The “New” Old School front arms will have different part #’s. The 1st batch of 100 was done with 2.5 caster & 2 camber. We will offer different degrees of caster & camber cut into them in the future. They also have a couple of mm taken off of the bottom for ride height. You can run down to the rim and make 3mm no problem.

5th...Part #'s and pricing will be up by Sunday evening. Kits ordered will start shipping on Wednesday (e-mail pre-orders 1st).

Thanks again, and thank you to Joel, Haynes, Hanulec (FJ), and Lia for all the help with the project. Hanulec, obviously for the comic relief.

Take care.-Bruce

from your wiki page, can you explain what you mean by:

Make sure to mount the body forward. A body that is offset to the back (more overhang in the front) will always drive on its nose. The Protoform AMR-12 is recommended

the amr-12 is pretty stable, so are you suggesting to mount the body forward for more steering? if so, how much forward of neutral on the front wheel arch might be a decent reference?
