I may have to look at the Sakura Zero S myself. It seems to be a good solid car for 17.5 TC and VTA.

Up until I posted about the Sakura Zero S in this thread, I never seriously considered it. Now I'm quite curious as to exactly what $100.00 worth of turing car buys you. I think I'm going order one tonight and try it out...

Im in the same boat looking for a tc. and IM a newbie.most of the guys at my track run xray and tc6. my wife said if I buy a car,I have to buy one for my son's (13&8 years old) and they have to race with me. im thinking if i stay with the same car parts will not be so bad. so a xray t3r 275x3=825...ouch dont think so
any way i was thinking of the Schumacher Mi1,( amain has lots of parts)
untill i seen that video. is the Sakura Zero S more fragile? how hard is it to get parts? would this be a good car to race/start with?

Odd's are you will be racing seperate classes so just tell you wife you'll share one car and let your son race stock. This will give you more track time and testing. If your sons are better than you let them drive the faster class ...lol

There is also the possibility of buying a used car if your sons are not so serious into it

If the car is $100 + some hop ups I dont mind spending the money, If I only pick up one car this is what I would hear is he destroyed my car.....if I go with 2 diffrent cars. I will hear well he has a better car then me. I know a few bucks will get spent (we run bashers-Traxxas truck right now)
im not too sure how the 8 year old will do but if thinks its not for him, I will have one more car for another class.
I notice that theirs not alot of stores that sell this car.
