Default Intellect LiPo do they still puff?

Ive been out of on road for about 10 months to a year.

Before i try to buy a pack, I wanted to know if the intellect latest batchs of 7.4v 5000, 5800, 6200 packs still have the puff for no reason issues as when i left, even when not dumped flat or doing anything wrong.

or am i better of getting another brand, as im on a very tight budget and the last 2 5600's i got puffed within a few weeks, and no other packs i had before that ever did, ever.

my friends in rc community are donating me some gear to get racing again, and my packs i have will get me by for now but not too long.

I use these packs and have had great success with them:

For the price nothing comes close. I own 3 of these and 2 of the 4S 5000mAh (for e-buggy) packs.

I use 5800 60C for almost a year and until now no problem, I had problems with the old 5000 50C than two years ago, they are a little swollen, but after a full season of racing and yet still function well.

my intellect 5200mah saddle pack finally balooned at 8 months, and my new since May 5400mah 60C balooned last week. but it could be because i drove until voltage cut off, which heats the battery, and doesnt help that i live in a tropical country. But the performance is still good, not excellent anymore though.

Both mine puffed slightly after 10 cycles but the internal resistance remains good as new as measured by CellPro 10s.

They are still ok to run stock. But once I move to modify or boost/turbo, my Intellect puffed a little too. So it depends on what motor/esc you run with.

Mines are the older 4600/35C & 5000/40C versions
