Default Pit Tables? What do you use?

Hey,

Ive been trying to get myself a good sturdy pit table for use over the indoor season. I have a foldable picnic table but id prefer not to use it as i dont see it as very strong and i prefer to use a seperate chair instead of those hard plastic seats.

So what do you guys use?

The only stipulations is that mine has to be foldable and nothing over the top.

(dont want to having to make it while im there)

thanks

My local club has pit tables at the indoor track and I use that. For running outdoors I use an old card table that I picked up cheap at a garage sale. I've had it for years now and used it for my nitro boats and now for my off-road vehicles. It folds nicely and fits the trunk (boot in the UK) of my car just fine.

I bought a nice table at Kmart. It's an 8' table that folds in half with a carrying handle. It's made from a white, heavy duty plastic. Sturdy build quality as well! I think I paid $60.

http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=prod...929-75128-8046

or the 6 ft. version:

http://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=prod...784-75128-8066

I've got both, and the 6 ft one is more solid, but the 4 ft one has done just fine for years. They are both nice and solid, and I've never had one tip over on me yet. The only downside to the 6 ft one is that is big and cumbersome to haul around. That's why I use the 4 ft one.

folding picinic tables and card tables are WAY to unstable for my tastes. No way I'm sitting me big$$ equipment on one of those!

Post 4' & 6' Folding Tables

At the track we use the 6' Folding leg tables and we have 6 of them. They are very good and sturdy. They make a smaller version which is 4' long.

Default tables

Those tables at lowes are the best, If you get two that are 4 ft wide they work great and you can configure them how you need to.

Post Configuration

Yep for sure!! I am thinking about getting some of the 4' tables and using more of those for the Race Control Area at the track. The 6' tables are nice but they are harder to configure under the 10x10 Canopy we use.
