Using my Thunder AC6 to charge AA NiMH

I have a 4x AA battery harness that I got from Radio shack for $1.50. Can I just hook up the red/black wires to my Thunder AC6 and use it to charge AAs?

My Thunder AC6 has a NiMH setting on it, could I use it in conjunction with that battery harness to charge my AAs? I'm wondering if this would be a better solution than my dumb wall wart charger.

My AC6 will at least give me voltage of the cells and allow me to discharge. If I did use it to charge AAs what amperage should I select? I charge my 6 cells Traxxas battery at .3 amps?

i don't see why not. nimh race packs are just buildups of single cells in series. same with lipos really.

Won't be a problem to charge that way. I would go no higher than a 1A charge rate.
