Who knows, this could be the chassis that could open up the Mini class for other manufactures. It would be a while before i can get one, but its on the list now

Well, it's not the first car to rival the Tamiya and it's not the only one on the market right now.

The problem is that almost all the non-Tamiya front-wheel drives are a bit quicker than them, and that causes problems.

Great looking car, deserves to find a market! I think outlaw minis are a popular class in Asia already.

The whole 'Outlaw Mini' class is interesting. We cater to them here at the Aus Mini Nats and yet we struggle to fill a single heat.

They can't be stuck in with the 'normal' Mini class, to do that opens the proverbial can-o-worms, it just doesn't work.

RC-Mini home club Keilor is going to allow the Outlaw FWD's and the 4WD's to run in their own separate class (together) from now on, it'll be interesting to see what support the concept gets.

Either way, we all still WANT the damn things anyway!

Someone should try one of those new "shorty" 7.4V 2S lipo packs in the T.O.P. FD Mini; it would fit better and is lighter as well. I use one in my ABC Goose 1/12 rear wheel drive car with the new Exotek Mongoose chassis conversion, and it works great!

CRC, Speedzone, and others make them. 3800-4000mah with 60C rating.

I use the Speedzone "shorty"; it is half the price of the Trinity RevTech, and it works great! The CRC "shorty" pack is also cheaper than the Trinity RevTech.

The Speedzone is 60C and I think the CRC is also.

I am not going to pay twice the price for 5C.
