Can anyone tell me what's the use of thinner chassis plate? PZW007 and PZW008?

I picked up some kyosho spring for this car, anyone using them? what are your setup?

Also, I see that there is an option for titanium and steel rear axle. Are they better than the carbon rear axle that comes with the box?

Thanks in advance.

I am also interested in the thinner chassis as I ran on asphalt which need more ride height,

I use the AE spring as it is more available to me. parts for this car is RARE

never tried those, anyone has trouble with the carbon one at all ?

Still quiet in this thread.

Anyway, I just bought this car including the thinner chassis and lower Pod plate. Still need to get the option springs.

Can't wait to run it!

I ordered some Kyosho parts to use on my 1/12, as i want to replace the center pivot with Plazma parts:

According to the Plazma manual i needed the following parts:

PZ019 (6mm pivot ball)
PZ040 (pivot nut and ball seat)
PZ002 (steering block and center pivot mount)

but when i put the 6mm ball (pz019) in the center pivot mount there is no room for the ball seat and pivot nut. I guess i should use a 5mm pivot ball?, does anyone know what size pivot ball i should use?

That is strange. Looks like you have the right part numbers so not sure why the ball doesn't fit. I'm still waiting for my kit so can't answer your question at the moment. Will do ASAP.

if i look at pictures of the parts at amainhobbies, it looks like pz019 is the front suspension pivot ball and pz012 is the rear pivot ball.

the part you have should be aluminum, threaded and fit a 3mm hex in the top, or is it plastic and smooth inside? the smooth part is used on the front suspension.

i don't know how you got to that diagram, but the one i found is different, check out:

The part is indeed plastic and smooth, the manual came from the german kyosho website. Now I see that they mixed up the numbers (PZ012 and PZ019) as the front suspension balls are also wrong in that manual.

But that solves it then . I'll use some 5mm pivot balls and keep the others as spares for my front suspension.

Just finished putting mine together today, hopefully I get it on track next week. Here are a couple of pics of it all wired up. I have all of the option springs for the car so I should be able to get it dialed in using K springs.

Looks good. What servo do you use?

I have my kit arriving any day now. Getting the Orion package but still need a steering servo.

Thanks, I'm running the KO PDS-951. I run KO stuff in all my off road cars and never had any issues so I went with one in this car. This is my first 12th scale and first on road car, really looking forward to trying it out.

Kyosho has a servo out now under the KRF brand, not sure on pricing, but it is in stock at Kyosho America if you are interested. Any hobby shop that carries Kyosho should be able to get the servo for you.
