The Plasma looks like a really nice car to me, 1/12th cars always resemble each other by simple definition so guys saying they copied this or that really doesn't make sense. As far as it resembling the TOP 12: It's red and the front upper suspension arm looks similar, that's all I see.
The rear motor braces also are like top with it using two lower motor screws and then it has rear pod graphite like crc and ft top arms kinda with lower ft AE arms and top/crc looking shock and top ft brace and top looking chassis with top bumper front body braces sorta so I'll call it the supreme hybrid of 12th

Hey Yung, yes, will be adding to the K family. 1/12 is my favourite class. I'll let you know when in the new year, and will def be heading to SMA.

Is this kit released yet? If so who has it for sale online?

EDIT: Didn't read the previous post. DUH!

Anyways, Stormer now lists it at 269.99, still on order though.

Anybody interested in this car? I am thinking about selling these and supporting them if there is interest.

Yes the guy runs it at our club very successfully. I have had a close look and it appears to be very well designed. Price here is just over the odds but it's sometimes nice just to be different.

I just picked mine up at Kyosho America today. They got them in last week so they should be making their way out to resellers in the US this week. Kit looks really nice. I'll take some pics as soon as I get a chance.

I'll be running the new 1S 90C LiPo from Peak Racing (made by Kyosho - basically Orion with a different label) and the Orion R10 1S/2S with the new VST Pro 13.5 motor and an Orion low profile servo.

so Kyosho USA does have the Plazma in stock but refuse to import the TF6? Is the 1:12 market in the USA that big and TC that small?

Default Plazma Ra short link or long link?

Iíll will post this question here as well, what affect does the length of the rear link arms have on a 1/12 pan car? The new Plazama Ra has an option for a short arm and a long arm. Iím just not sure how this would affect the car.

I also pick one up in local hobby shop (I am in Taiwan), this is a nicely made kit with few except:
1. the diff which isn't as smooth as other 1/12 I've built include X12, R5.1 and CRC Xi. I highly recommend a slapmaster thrust bearing. it make a night and day different (I built mine with slapmaster and the shop owner who is a reputable racer in Taiwan built his stock. he is amazed with how smooth my diff was)

2. Since the manual mention nothing about optional side spring. I recommend replacing the stock side spring and spring holder with AE parts for more tuning option.

other than that, It is a nice car although not much R&D in it.

They said the TF-6 has been out for a while and TC had been heavily declining back when it came out but it looks like things are picking up now so they will likely import the new Kyosho TC that they recently announced. (TF-6.5 or something like that).

TC is already a small but very crowded market in the US so it's probably really hard to turn a profit when you're building your product in Japan. Plus most carbon fiber is made in the US so they have to buy it here, ship it there, make their kit, then ship it back here. Tough business...
