From personal experience it is pretty fragile as far as bumpers go .. working on number 3 at the moment at a price of around $20 each. If I remember correcly, the guys at IIC were going through them at a pretty good pace. I've had mine actually push into the carbon fiber Front Arm Mounts and split those. Not good.

Looking into a Kydex Bumper ..
I don't have the TOP WGT car however, @ $20/ CF bumper for my Gen X10LE, I purchased a 4'X2' sheet of Black 3mm thick ABS plastic for less than $20.
With a bench top drillpress, bandsaw, beltsander and about 10 minutes/bumper, I've only needed to make 2 replacements so far as they holdup very well!

Use aluminum screws!!!! It will save the carbon fiber bumper. So far I have gone through 6 screws and NO bumpers!! On a side note I have been talking with troy mckune (Mckune Design) he said he should be able to machine some Kydex front bumpers. I assuming it will be after the TZGP though. He can also make Carbon fiber ones.

I just switched my battery layout to the one below. Sorry the picture isnít the greatest. I will get a cleaner one tonight without the antenna wire floating around LOL. To lay the battery like that you will need 18mm standoffs.

I think you'll see part numbers for parts start to populate our site as well in the next few days. If I end up racing a car we stock... we end up having excellent parts support for that car.

Not sure why that happens.

What servo are folks running in their wgt? Is there excess lightness like in the rebel 12 to run a heavy servo?

Im running a 12th scale servo. The car weights in about 40 grams lite (906) , but you can put the weight where you need it I guess.

I built my car (and EJ's) with a KO 951, not a particularly light 1/12th servo but the cars are still light by about 20 grams with receiver pack and RS. Mine is a little lighter still with the Edge esc. So if you want some weight forward you could use a standard servo

Never tried one, it has a lot less torque than the 951-not sure if that would be an issue. At 108 ounces the 951 has plenty
