What do you guys think of this charger. It looks kinda nice for a duratrax. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHDJ1&P=ML

Looks interresting, but I'd personally steer away from Duratrax. Batteries are what make you go...and go fast, so I believe strongly in taking good care of them....take car of your batteries and they will take care of you. I'd stick with the big names when buying a charger.

It looks really cool. Lot of features for the money, big screen with lot of info, motor run in, cycling and even Li-poly charge profile. On the other hand, it's Duratrax. But at half the price for Pulsar 2 who cares.

If it has the right features and performs well, what difference does it make who's name is on it. Does the name Reedy Quasar Pro ring a bell. It has a big, impressive, quality name on it but mine was junk. Even when I sent it back for the recall, it didn't work properly when it came back. Names don't mean sh**.

The REEDY QUASAR has served me very well over the last few years. Before and after the update with 4-8cell charging. In my opinion a flawless charger noisy yes but works great.

Just an FYI on this new charger from Duratrax. Its made by the same people that make the APEX line of chargers wich have been badged by INTEGY,DURATRAX and god knows who else.

Here is a cool charger coming out soon:

I just noticed. NO BLUE BACKLIGHT!!!!! Waaaahhhhhh, Buuuhuuu, Sniffle

Names do mean something. You expect more from Lexus than Yugo even if they were priced identically.

Is it just me, or is this Duratrax similar to a futaba CDR 5000?

Let me see...$129 charger vs. a $500 charger, I don't think so...

I'm with you.
