Wow. I have three of the Paradox series; The Paradox P2K and P2KPro. None of the motors have given me any problems at all.... But that'll all end when I get back to the States and pick up a Brushless system. I will still use my motors in races, only if the track rules require them.

I'd heard that the annodizing on the can had something to do with the magnets not sticking. I too had a magnet come loose (in 2 different motors.)

In the right environment, I think they're okay. I prefer Monsters now, though.

is it a new p2k2 or a used one. i would think a used one thats been pressured with high heat and abuse might have this problem or if the previous owner didnt take care of it.

i have had tons of p2k/k2's and never had a problem. i run offroad/touring.

i also use monsters, mvp and binarys. only did an mvp come apart on me once..

hmm...
