4mm towers to be able to run full length shocks such as TRF shocks

What is the advantage of running puddy in your gear diff instead of oil?

Thanks

Gives u the chance to also run a more common spring set. Also had some ride height issues with the original springs. Car feels a bunch more stable on the TRFs.

You can also use the TRF416 shock tower at the rear.
With this shock tower you can use the white Tamiya springs and you only need the plus 4 front shock tower.
Funny thing was with my Sakura Zero that i didn't even use the 4mm up shocktower at the front and still run Tamiya springs
All this was with the stock shocks and the -1 springplatform.

Exclamation

The 3 racing towers are about half the price and have more adjustment

Have some spare Tamiya towers that I looked at putting on first.

You could also use the Team Magic springs.
No need for adjustments

what would be better if using +4 towers and tamiya shocks?

better handling?

very pleased with my car now, but is there is always room for improvement

also, is the tamiya trf damper cylinders availible seperately or do i have to buy a complete set of shocks?

To run the TRF shocks with the 4mm towers you will need the TRF cylinder along with the shock shafts as they are longer than the 3R ones. Then you can just put the 3R shock caps on it. They do sell these parts separately but might be easier just to buy a set of TRFs.

The sakura zero s had the battery strap but the narrow chassis you cant use it any suggestions

Running putty or high visc oil is for simulating the spool axle for corner exit on power steering grip (less compared to a spool) but slightly better turn in compared to a spool and less wear on drivetrain.

Most use filament tape, I use double sided velcro to secure velcro'd lipos to the chassis.

Yeah that's why i put the velcro (rough side) on the battery top side as well, the hairy side to go over that and then another layer of the strap itself to go over that. Haven't encounter any problems of battery flying even after car flew 2 feet up in air and some side impact from other cars.

I have a question for those that had tried the recommended setup in the manual. I'm assuming that the spool setup would have more understeer but how come the recommended setup still went with a stiffer front spring and stiffer stabilizer bar?
