what springs does the XI come with?
and what springs do i need to have in my box? will be running the car indoor on carpet (have a set of tamiya springs here but always nice to have original equippment )

guessing that 4-500 oil would be a good start in the shocks?

Tested my Sakura XI last night and really happy with it. Easy to drive!

Anyone know when the optional shock towers (4mm plus) will be released? I can only use 3racing springs with the stock towers at the moment.

Thanks!

Run some TRF shock bodies with the shock shafts . But then if you need the extra clearence you could always use the 416/417 rear shock tower IF it lines up.

You can use the Team Magic springs without any problems.
I did on my Sakura before i got the 4mm up shock towers.
I believe the Tamiya white springs should also work.
See pic's below.
Both where without the 4mm up shock towers

Regards Roy

Yes i am
Here in Holland i was one of the first to try this setup.
I could copy the setup from my TRF416X to the Sakura and it drove like a dream
This setup is in combination with the short rear arms but not using the narrow suspensionblocks.
The Team magic springs with fir for sure.
They are a bit shorter then the Tamiya or Sakura springs.
You can also use the -1mm spring retainer if you want some more room for the springs

regards Roy

So in other words, both the front & rear TRF416 shock towers will fit the Sakura XI also, right?

Ran the car with great sucess in 17.5 boosted class 2nd place at big meeting with no previous tracktime with car built 1 day before race.

very strong and fast ,responded well to changes, stable and verry good midcorner speed all in all great car!!!!!!!!

the new 3racing + 4 mm shock towers will sort out the issue of not being able to run longer springs they have just been released .
the rear belt tensioner is also a really good addition lets you run belt looser without skipping .
and the bando belts are the best belts around good improvement over previous ones.
Well done 3 racin on a well built well thought out car

With my Zero, i used the front top bulkheads on the rear.
The TRF tower you need to widen the screw holes just a bit.
Don't over do tho
