Default Do you need special ESC's for 5 cells?

Or can you use any ESC? Most of the ESC's I've found say they're rated at 6-7 cells, but do they work with 5 cells?

Thanks!

Most ESCs are rated for 4 to 7 cells. Some of the cheap ones might not be rated for 7 cells.
