factory matched..i hate it when people say that.

its like when people sell cells on ebay they say they are factory matched making out that they are matched by GP or what ever.

well GP actually said ignore this because they DO NOT match their own cells.

Everyone is getting so up tight -

I posted this because I thought it was a good deal. Wanted to know if there was a better deal to compare how good it was. The price of the cells used to be higher and I have noticed many places that the prices have dropped a lot recently. This was not a thread saying mine is better than yours - just I think this is a good deal, does anyone know of a better.

I currently use the cells and I am very happy with them.

It's all ok -

I know a couple of months ago, I looked around and most everywhere the prices were so much higher for loose cells. Has it come to a point where the market is flooded and people are just trying to unload them, or is something else like new technology is coming out???

Who knows - I was just surprised to see many sites like people posted here with better prices that are almost half from what i found a couple of months ago.

Sometimes they sell them on EBay for cheaper. I seen that brand done as a power cube. Some of their auctions go for more than their website though. It is amazing what people pay for things on EBay.

maxamps.com -

$33 for GP3300's, 6 cells. Probably not matched though. Check to make sure.

I dunno if its just me but it seems like matched packs don't make a difference unless you charge about 6 amps

Matched Cells are CHEAPER though in most cases.
Are you guys not understanding this or what?
It's COMMON SENSE.I wish the world had more of this I really do.

Guys unless your racing onroad or 1/12th scale you probally wont know a HUGE difference with matched cells but here's the deal.

Packs are PROVEN to last longer when matched expecially if you dont have a discharge tray.

If you happen to run the pack out till it dies you could actually REVERSE the voltage of a couple of cells and damage them.

If you can get 6 matched cells for $5.00 each then thats alot better than 4.80 for cells that arent matched.
Sometimes you will find 1.15's for like $24.95-27.95 which is cheaper than $4.80 a cell anyway.

Save yourself the heartache and buy matched.

P.S.GP DOES NOT factory match anything. They are simply tested to make sure of quality of the cell.
1.17 matched is a LIE.

I agree with Tex racer, Guys wake up, Promatch was selling true matched 1.15s for like $25 US and several other companies also are probably matching that price.

Some cells that are advertised on ebay as matched "Guaranteed 1.17s" are not because I have tested them. Guess what ? they are not high voltage cells, in fact they are not matched or even zapped. runtime was 360 - 390 voltage was 1.13 - 1.148. Some of the cells also have "dings" in them. Factory "matched" means they may or may not (probably not) have got hold of some of the high voltage cells GP picks out and only sells to matchers. The $20.90 packs are cheaper as loose cells, and they are not falsely advertised as matched packs.

Anyone who advertises the packs as being factory matched by voltage doesn't know what they are talking about. Sure, once you have matched on capacity, you can match on voltage, but a 1.16 that runs for 440 seconds is often superior (in voltage) to a 1.17 that lasts for 390 seconds.
