Where do you get liquid nitrogen?

Default Back from Japan

Hey all, I'm back from the "Land of the Rising Sun". WOW! What an experiance. Had some meetings with 2 "Major" manufacturers and was treated to a trip to the Shizuoka Hobby Show. Saw some neat things. New inovations. Great ideas. i.e. shocks without springs, completly adjustable rates using series of opposing magnets. New battery concepts, 5000MAH and no bigger than a disposable lighter! (high voltage)
Anyway, I am not going to Europe afterall and will be at La Mirada this Sunday 5-22 for OC Circuit race. I'll have the last of my "SuperCoolers" there, if anyones interested.
I'll answer all the emails asap, but I need some sleep right now!
Thanks, Jeff -- Team Pharriswheel

Default Thanks to everyone!

Just want to say thanks to ya'll that have purchased my "SuperCooler" & "SuperCoolerX" over the past few years. It's been "fun"!
Having sold over 700 units worldwide, it has been an experience.
Recently I sold my patent rights (all 16 of them) to a "major" manufacture and I am no longer making them (although I still have a few left to get rid of, Email if interested).

There have been a few folks who have made and sold similar units and it was never my intention to pursue legal action for patent infringment (although my attorney thought I should), because it is, and will always be a "hobby" for me. But I no longer control that, Sooo...Please be careful if your going to market Peltier based electric motor coolers. Good luck!

Default something extra!

Hey Guys, It seems as though there are company's coming out with all different kind of "peltier" based thermoelectric motor coolers, but I dont see anybody "stretching the envelope" on R&D.
Come on guys, if you can build a top of the line touring car (and maintain it) you should be able to build a motor cooler!
Here are some of my prototypes that I had R&D'd building my Team Pharriswheel "SuperCooler"
The first one is the one I still use at races. It has a high CFM fan (adjustable) and 3 peltiers stacked. It is good for about a 90* temp differential- 100* air temp 10* motor.
The second is for "bling-bling" with LED lighted fan and Dragon fan cover. I use two peltiers stacked and it good for aprox 75* temp drop.
Lets see what ya can come up with!

I honestly don't see anyone designing anything differently. One being sold at the moment cost close to $100.00 and thats with only 1 peltier element, so anything more would just increase the end price.
