Default Belt lubrication, yes or no?

As the title says, do you guys lube you belts?

I know that a lot of people flying helicopters use lubrication to extend belt life and reduce friction.

Any thoughts?

lube, or some sort of conditioner?

Thinking "lube' would increase belt skip. Or do they do that to get more skipping with very tight belts??

never heard this in car racing, but this doesn't mean that someone is not doing this, personaly, with Associated belts it is not needed, the belts last very well.

I think my Schumacher Cat could benefit from as conditioner not so much a lube. Running off road here in the low humidity dry conditions my belts look horrible. For on road I could see it not being suck a problem.
