Hey,

Has anyone tried the chassis setup app "Setup Workbench" written by Martin Crisp. I was thinking of buying it.

thanks for the interest in the app. I was initially going to just migrate the info from my book but in the end I decided to redo all thw content and also add a lot of new content some setup tools as well as news feeds from popular rc sites.

Initially when I launched this app the Apple version had an FDR calculator and the Android version did not. Just wanted to let you know that the Android version now has an FDR calculator.

Looks good! I loved the book, but will wait for the price to drop as I think it's way out of the range foelr what i will pay for an app.

Kind of with Qatmix on this one. Little pricy.

Now, if there was a "light" version where I might be able to see some things, some features, and see what I'm missing in the full version...I might change that opinion. But sight unseen is a bit hard to swallow that price.

Not saying it's NOT worth it, just without seeing it just not willing to take the gamble. Maybe I'll run across someone with it and they'll let me take a look at it.

I guess porting it over to blackberry isn't easily done Martin?. I have to use a blackberry for work unfortunately.

I voted on the site for a web version. For now I'll have to stick with your book or occasionally bugging you at the track.

I never knew MC wrote the xxxmain... learn something new everyday.

I understand theres a lot of time and effort put into the app(not to mention small demographic), but I just cant see myself paying $14.99 for an iphone app.

Call me cheap or whatever, $2 is the most ive spent on an app. However, I would pay $10 for this one.

Let us know if the price drops in the future Martin!

Is this app for TC setups or will it work for pan car setups as well?

Yup, it's a great book and so I assume this would be top. But it's all about Market dynamics.

The app store has devalued lots of things due to the amount of apps available. Unfortuantley this means that the price people expect to pay is lower than other avenues no matter how good it is.
