The other solution isn't ideal, especially for us early adopters who paid full whack and now have a version that won't be updated. I would sort the issue out before penalising the early adopters.

What package are you using to write the code? Its normally pretty easy to put both the iPad and iPod versions in your exe.

Pm me if you want
Thanks for the post.... that is encouraging for sure.

Obviously when we bought the app we were expecting ongoing updates, as was expressly promised , and knowing there was more to come and helping you with some spelling issues. This is not unreasonable expectation given the price tag.

What's to stop the 2,99 version not going the same route in the future ?
Thanks for the feedback, and also all your great help (and others) in cleaning up some of the spelling errors.

I think what will stop this from happening again is that I will never again cancel an uploaded binary before it is made available in the app store like I did for this release, which seems to be the cause of the issue.

But more than that , at least for me , I bought it knowing it's not the final version ( based on the comments from Martin ) and expected updates as we go along.

In theory this could be 2,99 every update - I mean there can be Apple errors every time you submit.
I hear you...and I understand your concern, but this is not likely given I know what I did differently during this recent upgrade attempt and will avoid those steps in the future, and I have been able to provide upgrades in the past.

If the new apps are approved by apple, I suspect they will be up on the app store late next week. I am working on the Android one now, I hope to get it on the market soon.

The version in the android market is the current edition. I am working on a newer version, but it is not yet available.

By the way...I am still in conversation with Apple, and my goal is to try and resolve the issues preventing me from updating the old version (1.01) to the new version (1.1) which includes the ability to store setups for you Chassis and your ESC as well as allow the user to define their own fields.

Default iPad HD Version now available

The iPad HD version of the app is available now in the iPad App store. Here is the link

I have had to resort to deleting the old app from the iPhone store as Apple has not provided me with a solution to the issues described above.

I will have a new iPhone version up by early next week (best estimate).

I have reduced the price significantly to $4.99 for the iPad HD version.

Any word on the app availability?

I've been on the lookout for it.

There is a new app in the app store called "Setup" and is $9.99.

Does this include the newest update?

Thanks!

Default iTunes Credit

So I contacted iTunes customer service, they will give you a credit on your account for the old app. and you will then be able to buy the new version that has the new stuff. I just told them that I accidentially bought the app. I should see a credit on my account in 3-5 days.
