HPI F10 v. 3racing F109 AND best kit for under $150
I've got two questions for y'all. First; F10 or F109? Second; best On-road kit for under $150. Just looking for your personal opinions.
edit: Ok I should probably clarify. The $150 budget has nothing to do with the F10 v. F109 discussion, just wanted to know what y'all thought was better. As for the $150 budget, I'm just curious to what y'all think is the best on road kit in that price range. When I say kit I'm thinking build it or ARTR. Of course if you think there is a good RTR in that price range then please voice your opinion.

Hi, The F109 is vastlyy superior to the HPI F10. The only on road car
that is near your budget would be the Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk.

Make the HPI F10 your last choice. There is a lot you have to do/upgrade from the initial kit in order to make it competitive. I had a buddy buy a F10 and spent just about as much as the kit cost in hop-up parts just to make it competitive with another buddy's box stock F104. The F109 is a good choice. You can also roll with the Tamiya F104 but it will cost you a little more than $150. I heard that Corally is reviving theirs but it will be as pricey as the previous one they offered.

I'm looking for a different class to run on asphalt locally... getting a little burnt on coopers, was thinking of doing a silvercan (spec FDR) based TC class but it's hard to say if the interest is there with other racers... but I do see the F1 guys coming out fairly often. I drove a HPI it was fun, but for the money it sounds like the F109 is a good choice. Just need to know where to find one.
