In my first qualifier I got bumped into the boards and the left front arm split in two
This put me outta of the action, except that I had my IRS rug rat in parts in my tool box. I put that sucker together in record time and the day ended up good (finished 3rd in the A). The CEFX car is now done for me, the car handled well when it was not broken
, but a broken car doesn't win races. I'm just putting my experience with the car out on the table and hope no one else get screwed out of a lot of money like I did.

Josh will be back from the Gas Worlds Tuesday and I am sure he will help you out.

So I take it its for sale?
I think you should give it more of a chance than you did. You should find out why it broke instead of throwing it to the side and giving up on the first try. Alot of others have the car and dont seem to be complaining.

Dan, wasn't it the arm that broke the second time? When I picked it up (I was the marshall) it was the right front arm that broke wasn't it? Anyways you still did well even with all of the problems, see ya next Friday.

Here is a quote from another Cefx thread that you replied in.
"I'm running stock with it and (not to sound like a big ego) I don't hit things. I've been racing 12th scales since 93 and I'm confident in my ability to drive it and avoid hitting stuff (unless some one punts me like somethin feirce and hit the wall square). It's better to break a replaceable bumper than a whole chassis"

Wow, you must of smacked something REALLY hard. I am running the C12 at Worlds, and have been practicing with the car at the Gas track in Toledo, the one the ROAR Nitro Sedan Nats were held at. Running a 7x1 V2 geared to the moon I have never broken anything besides cracking a front bumper and Kropy can a back me up on this one, I've hist some stuff pleanty hard! What exactly did you hit, because no "bump" into the boards would do something like that... you had to smack it a ton! Wait till Josh get's back from Brazil and talk to him...

So you break one arm and thats it...the car is no good?
You could have hit it at a strange angle, or even had a one off faulty part.

Doesn't look like it had a bumper on it.
