Default Best bang for your buck roller chassis?

I need anyone who has experience with different roller chassis to give me their opinion before I do trial and error myself and my wife divorces me. Lol. My budget isn't that big since I'm basically just building a second car out of the spare parts I've amassed while upgrading.

I got back into RC after a long layoff. I went from nitro off-road to electric on-road. In one day, I spent $500~ (a lot more than I wanted to spend to "try" RC again) on a Spektrum DX3C, HPI Sprint 2 Sport, some battery, a charger, a second set of wheels with drift tires, a 350z body, paint and other miscellaneous stuff. Not even a week into it, I bought a Mamba Max Pro with a 1416 (Neu-Castle 4-pole) 5700kv motor. I also bought the Field Link USB programming card. Just a few days ago, I bought two micro receivers (SR3500) because I found my chassis too cluttered so now I have three receivers total. I also have many other stuff I bought and I've only owned the car since Father's Day --a gift from my wife, which I'm sure she's regretting.

I know this is nowhere near the extreme most of you guys spend, but that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. All I need is a servo and a chassis and I got myself another car. I want to make use of my extra parts and avoid switching wheels back and forth to drift. I'm not interested in TT01 or E10, though. I've seen TA-05 roller kits for $150. Is that the best way to go for me?

Pardon if this has been asked before. I tried searching but keywords popup in threads that are out of context. If I missed a thread, linking me to that so I can read up and research on my own is fine.

Your opinion is very much appreciated! TIA.

You could check out a TC3 or TC4 as they can be had for dirt cheap and parts are still pretty common. My brother just picked up one for $100 with a gtb/13.5 and a buttload of spares.

Sorry, I forgot to mention this is for non-competitive use. Two guys at my local shop and two of my friends will probably go to park near by and draw a track using Crayola Sidewalk Chalk on the smoothest surface we can find (basketball court, tennis court, handball court, etc.) LOL.

Wow, used in the FS forums here or eBay? And if I pick up a TCx chassis, do I make that my drift car and my Sprint 2 Sport my grippy car? I've checked craigslist, eBay, random RC sites, the FS forums, etc. but the problem I have is I don't know if the RC I'm looking at is an AWD 1:10 electric or something else. I'm really green to electric AWD 1:10 touring/drift.

LSP S10 Blast TC, roller is sub 100 bucks, and over all its not a bad car either, all you need to do to make it competitive is give it a good setup and give it a bigger pinion gear.
