Thumbs up Brushless motors???

Hay just a question too throw out there ...If you got a Hobbywing(Brushless) Electronic Speed controller,Could you use other Brand Brushless motors other than (Hobbywing) motors?,And i`m thinking of buying a 5.5T Hobbywing Motor,Would the 4.5T be better or would they both be ruffly the same? Thanks champs keep up the good work .Viper

Yes, you can use other brand motors with your ESC. A 4.5 is a bit faster and a bit harder on the electrics.

A 4.5T is faster, but since you ask, I would recommend you go with the 5.5T - that is plenty fast.

,My 120Amp ESC could handle the 4.5T though.But yer...A5.5T is pritty good,And it`s only $130 Bucks

Can my 120Amp Short course 8 ESC Handle a 3.5T and a 3.0T brushless motor??,Because a 60Amp ESC can handle a 5.5T Brushless motor.Mines 120Amp.
