Trinity Monster Horsepower Machine

I'm interested in peoples thoughts on this. Is this any better than the motor checker from Integy or Team Much More?

I interested either way....

Wouldn't bother unless you race micro because for half that price you can get the Integy (which will give you enough info on what change make what differences) th eonly difference is that the Trinity one does a little more and does micro motors. I would not buy this item unless I was a Micro pro or I race micro and standard size motors and didn't already onw a dyno. I have the Integy and works great for what it does.
These are just my opinions thanks for listening.

i think the integy is the way to i have one and it works great, not the most advanced dyno(compared to robotics and such) but it works for me and you cant go wrong for $100

This unit is not designed to be a substitute for a dyno..it is mostly a motor break in machine. It will give readings on the "condition" of the armature but those numbers are not comparable to any other device out there. If you have a good motor check it on your dyno or whatever device you have and use it as a baseline for comparing other motors.

Hope that helps.....

i use the integy and does its job fine...i'm told it has the same insides as the muchmore/orion/peak etc

a motor checker isn't a true dyno, but it allows you to see what difference changing springs, brushes, timing etc will do..and will also allow you to compare your OWN motors run on that checker.

comparing motors using different motor checkers cannot be done because they will give different figures (even if its exactly the same motor done on 2 different machines)

also, it is no where near as accurate as a true dyno....and you have to take into account, a dyno puts load on the motor...so you might see that your motor on a checker has 5k more rpm but in reality..with load on it, it won't have.

For the price you might as well get a APS dynocharge.
$149US and charges batts as well.

Seems to do all the same stuff $100 cheaper.
