Default 64 pitch gears

I was just wondering what are the advantages of 64p gears.
I'm intersted in installing them in my tc3, soon to be a tc4. Also, what should be a general gearing for a 19t.

one advantage is that you have finer gearing options, the mesh is finer, so say using a 25 tooth 48 pitch compared to a 64 pitch 25 tooth if you went up one tooth on the 64 pitch it is like going up 1/2 tooth on a 48 pitch hope i explained that ok, on e disadvantage is they strip easier, & you pick up debries more so if you run parking lots stick with the 48 pitch!

The mesh is finer, but in terms of debris, I have never ever had a problem with it. I've had more dirt get in my motor than in my gears. But I guess it all depends on where you run.
