KO Pro Pro EX10 Helios
I just bought the EX10 Helios from a friend and I am tired of buying AA's. Anyone have a solution for a Lipo Pack? What kind of plug does it take?

Stormer Hobbies has a Reedy branded lipo that is made for the Helios/Eurus radios. You have to make up a fairly simple wiring harness to charge it.
Ballistic Batteries has a nice lipo with its own specific charger...Fairly expensive; but nice.

do you guys know what kind of plug it takes? is it Futaba, JR, what kind of a connection? I can always take a mini airsoft battery and make one, I just don't know what kind of plug it takes. Also what happens if I plug it in with reversed Polarity?

yup ProTek Pack for mine. the 2300mah lasts around a month or so on a single charge racing 2-3 times a week.
It came with instructions on witch way to put the pins in the connecter and witch way to plug it in..
i went a step further and broke out the exacto blade and marked witch side the positive wire should be on.. (my helios the pos wire is on the pin closest to the back of the radio)
Looks like proteks pack is a 2800 now
Makes sense it will last a bit longer.

VR adjustment
A friend of mine turned on the VR setting on my Helios / JR Z1 radio and the car felt "better". Couldnt explain what it was exactly, but the car seemed mire tame. I read the manual to see what exactly the VR adjustment is, but I'm even more confused. Can anybody explain this in laymens terms?

The charge lead polarity simply needs to be reversed. All I do is switch the leads going into the charger. Most chargers have a reverse polarity alarm (check to make sure your's does) so if you forget to switch it back when you charge your next pack you won't do any damage.
Regarding the balancer, if you're talking about this balancer (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Poly-Balancer) I can't help you.
