In England I can assure you Rc racing makes you a whole less attractive when you first tell a woman it's one of your hobbies haha

Default mach 2 motors

mach 2 motors how do they compare to the old motors. Rollouts settings still the same.I run 13.5 and 10.5 .
13.5 is in blinky 1/12th scale and 10.5 both blinky and boosted in WGT10..
In a nut shell is it worth making the switch from the old motors to the new.

I'm just getting into racing and built a Losi 22 buggy with orion vortex pro speedo and the Mach 2 13.5 motor. Running a 26T pinion. Any suggestions for settings with this combo?

I started with a b4.1 rtr and the reedy motor included in that kit seemed to be quite a bit faster...

Hi! Just wanted to know if anyone had advice on a suitable FDR for a mach2 13.5 on a track that has a long straight? The class is a boosted class and I am running the HW V3.1 ESC.

Thanks!

I'm having trouble with a 21.5 not working. You have to turn the motor to get it going. Sometimes it will start other times u need to give it help. I haven't cooked it that I can tell.

Usually that is sensor wire or the sensor itself.

Try a new sensor wire.

I have a Mach2 17.5 and a LRP FLOW WORKS in my TC6.1 running blinky the track I race on is 70'x48' carpet on-road with good traction and very technical infield. What is a good starting point for timing and FDR? How would you set the Flow to work best with Mach2 in this type of track condition?

What is your gear ratio? and which car? In TC you would probably want to be around 45 degrees timing.
With a track the size of mine what temps should I be seeing?

The reason I ask is because I'm the only mach2 on the track and everyone else is talking about 120's. I had a really bad race night with my car and was told that maybe I should turn my timing down so I did and the car was way easier to drive.

I starting to think my bad setup is the reason I had to turn the timing down but I'm open to suggestions.

Are the version 1 reedy motors still available? I'm looking for a 13.5 and thought they may be lower priced since the Mach 2's came out. Anyone seen any on the net?
Thanks

I fried my new Mach 2 17.5 yesterday, it went up in smoke. So I need a replacement! Is there any word on whether just stators are available from hobby stores? I can only find them on the Associated website with the super-high MSRP...

I have the Mach 2 4.5t and it's very noisy. I keep thinking I have a stone in my gears ... but I don't.
Is this normal for this motor ?
Any fixes ?
Thanks.
